You need your own legal copy of GTA V for PC (Legacy version, not Enhanced) and the free FiveM client.
FiveM runs on the classic version of GTA V (Legacy). The Enhanced version is not currently supported and won't let you connect. If you own both, launch through FiveM, not through Steam.

Yes, joining is free. You must already own GTA V on PC.
It's more relaxed than heavy RP but not a shooter server: a balanced economy, clear rules and scenarios without endless farming.
Not for open jobs. Police, EMS and mechanics require an application from the Whitelist page on the site.
The server has 48 player slots.
